Beef Mechado is a type of stew with tomato sauce. Mechado is one of the favorite dishes among Filipino home as part of weekly menu or on occasion and gatherings. Aside from beef, other meat like pork and chicken can be substituted for it, also they liver for more flavored taste. This dish is somewhat similar to other Filipino dishes such as the Kaldereta (caldereta), Estofada (or Estofado), and as well as the Afritada because of the base ingredient used (which is tomato sauce).

Bicol Express is a famous dish which originated in Bicol Region of the Philippines. It is pork strips and green finger peppers ("siling haba" or "siling pamaksiw" in tagalog) cooked in coconut milk. Bicol Express is very rich and very spicy.   Bicol express in the Philippines have different versions, some  include ginger, some include turmeric, some include bagoong or shrimp paste and other use sea food ( tuna, shrimp, mussel and squid) instead of pork.   In Thailand they have their own version of bicol express  and they called it "siamese"

Leche Flan is the Filipino term for the originally Spanish flan de leche, literally “milk flan”, which is a heavier version of the Spanish flan made with condensed milk and more egg yolks. Leche flan is usually steamed over an open flame or stove top, although rarely it can also be seen baked. This recipe  is a staple in celebratory feasts like Christmas and other special occasions it is also use leche flan for topping in "Halo-halo" to make it more creamier.

Pata Tim ("Patatim") is a Filipino dish. Its main ingredient is the pork leg. The pork knuckles (pork leg) is slowly boiled to make the pork leg tender. Soy sauce, sugar and a couple of pieces of star anise are the main ingredients that give the pork a sweet and spicy taste. It has just the right amount of fat giving us a generous chunk of meat per slice. The sauce was very rich and delicious. It is the ideal dish to serve at dinner for the whole family to enjoy.

Buko salad can go along with other fruits that much like to your taste such as mango, apple, seedless grapes, bananas, kiwi fruit and dragon fruit. The mixture of condensed milk and cream makes this dish taste even better.
