Adobong Tahong Cooking Instruction:
- Wash and clean the mussels,beard removed, boil it with ginger in a pan until the shells are open.
- Remove the mussels meat.
- In medium heat, set a sauce pan with the cooking oil, then sauté garlic, onion, until the onion is translucent.
- Add mussels, peppercorns and bay leaf, stir, cook for 2 minutes
- Add soy sauce, vinegar and red chili
- Simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated and stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt to taste. Turn-off the heat

- Add chilli leaves,
fish sauce, coconut meat (this is where you add the coconut meat if it’s soft) then simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Season with salt according to taste, then turn-off the heat.
- Serve it on a bowl or coconut shells.
- Serve hot with rice. Share and enjoy
