Leche Flan is the Filipino term for the originally Spanish flan de leche, literally “milk flan”, which is a heavier version of the Spanish flan made with condensed milk and more egg yolks. Leche flan is usually steamed over an open flame or stove top, although rarely it can also be seen baked. This recipe  is a staple in celebratory feasts like Christmas and other special occasions it is also use leche flan for topping in "Halo-halo" to make it more creamier.

Pata Tim ("Patatim") is a Filipino dish. Its main ingredient is the pork leg. The pork knuckles (pork leg) is slowly boiled to make the pork leg tender. Soy sauce, sugar and a couple of pieces of star anise are the main ingredients that give the pork a sweet and spicy taste. It has just the right amount of fat giving us a generous chunk of meat per slice. The sauce was very rich and delicious. It is the ideal dish to serve at dinner for the whole family to enjoy.
